TURTLE BEACH
Set in 1979, Turtle Beach follows Australian journalist Judith Wilkes as she travels to Malaysia to report on Vietnamese refugees. There, she encounters Minou, a French-Vietnamese woman married to the Australian ambassador, and Kanan, an Indian physician. Through these relationships, Judith navigates cultural complexities, personal desires, and the harsh realities of refugee life, leading to a profound personal transformation.
